CLIFFSIDE
PARK -- The last time Englewood met Cliffside Park, it took four
overtimes to determine a winner. This time around, it took about
two-and-a-half quarters. The Red Raiders led by as many as 38
points and defeated Englewood, 66-30, for their third win in a
row. Cliffside Park has outscored their opponents by an average
of 26 points per game in those three wins.
Englewood's top scorer, Zachary Anderson, left the game in the
second quarter after rolling over his ankle while driving to the
hoop. He did not return. Cliffside Park's win keeps it one game
behind Tenafly for first place in the BCSL-American Division.
